Camping Carso - Bio camping

The camping agrituristico Carso (Farmhouse camping Carso) is part of a family driven agricultural company situated in the heart of the Karst of Trieste, an environment rich of biodiversity because of the geographic location and in particular the geologic environment. The camping site is situated a few kilometres from Trieste and main sites with historical, cultural and naturalistic interest will allow you to spend an exciting holiday.
 
The camping site has 10.000 sq.m. and is characterized by a forest of oak and ash, that will guarantee nice large shadow places, all provided with an electrical connection. Around the camping are biological gardens of our agricultural family company, where our clients, if they wish so, can take their own vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pepperoni, aromas and also seasonal fruits.
In the camping shop it is possible to buy also tipical local products like wine and honey.
Inside the camping place are a swimming pool, a playground, barbecue area and relaxation room with WiFi.

Swimming pool


The swimming pool is open every day, from 20 June to 4 September from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 19.00
Intensive swimming courses are organized during the months of July and August.

Opening hours

The camping is open from May to September with the possibility of further openings at Easter and on April 25th.

The reception is open from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00.

Climbing support: information and advice to discover the many cliffs in the area that offer various climbing routes are available at the reception.

E-bike rental 

Excursions on the plateau Karst and surroundings (by reservation)

Birthday parties for children: throughout the year it is possible to organize birthday parties on the camping using the facilities of the playground, BBQ area and the swimming pool.

Gasoline is available at low prices in Slovenia (8 km distance)

Public transport

 

Public transport by bus: a direct bus line to Trieste centre and to the sea (Sistiana bay, Baia di Sistiana). The bus stop is right in front of the camping entrance.

Public transport by boat: from the Sistiana Bay it is possible to travel very comfortable by boat to Grignano, Barcola and Trieste.

Public transport by train: numerous departures from the railway stations in Trieste or Monfalcone offer you the possibility to arrive in Venezia within 1,5 hours.
